On Saturday last, while Moses Daykin, aged 35 of Bramcote, was at work in a pit belonging to the Right Honorable Lord Middleton, in that parish, a large piece of coal, which had been loused by a blast of gunpowder, suddenly fell upon him and so much crushed his right arm, that in two hours afterwards obliged to suffer the painful operation of amputation of the limb
